Franklin Public Library Teen Poetry Slam Night - Open to the Public!
Wednesday, April 29 from 6:00 - 7:30pm

All youth in grades 6-12 are invited to arrive early at 5:45pm to sign-up to read a poem on stage!

Join us for an evening of poetry performed by our local youth talent! Enjoy coffeehouse refreshment, and cast your vote for the Teen Poetry Slam Favorite Prize! Winners of our Teen Poetry Contest will be revealed, and prizes will be given out!

This free event is open to all ages. Teens who have entered poems in the Teen Poetry Contest are encouraged to attend AND perform! Call 414-425-8214 for more information.

Join us Thursday, May 7 at 1pm for the Classic Movie Matinee showing of Alfred Hitchcock's Rebecca.

Alfred Hitchcock’s first American feature tells the story of a young woman (Joan Fontaine) who marries a fascinating widower (Laurence Olivier) only to find out that she must live in the shadow of his former wife, Rebecca, who died mysteriously several years earlier. She must also deal with the jealous, obsessed Mrs. Danvers (Judith Anderson), the housekeeper, who will not accept her as the mistress of the house.
